A native of Pennsylvania, Janet always knew she wanted to be involved in an area of law that helped others. She began her work helping individuals with disabilities while volunteering at Legal Aid while attending University of Pittsburgh School of Law. Following graduation, she secured her first law position at Laurel Legal Services in Greensburg, PA. Janet has extensive experience in Disability law working for several firms in the Philadelphia area including running her own firm. In addition, she has represented claimants in Federal Court appeals all over the Country. She joined the practice of Rubin and Badame in 2023 to continue to pursue her passion in the disability field.
Janet also dedicates her time to helping her community and rescuing animals. Janet, her husband and two children adopt unwanted horses, dogs, and cats and rehabilitate to become safe and loyal companions. She is an avid swimmer, horseback rider, and tennis player.
